500,000 vanilla cones to be given away within two months in three phases
In celebration of the nation’s jubilee, Singapore’s No. 1 e-commerce platform Qoo10 is giving away 500,000 vanilla cones in Singapore’s largest ice-cream giveaway, dubbed the Qoo10 Free Cone Days campaign.
100,000 vanilla cones will be up for grabs in the first phase of the campaign, running from 10 – 13 September 2015, with the remaining two phases to be announced at a later date. Singaporean residents can register for a complimentary Qoo10 membership, download the Qoo10 SG, Shopping Talk and Qtalk mobile apps and click to receive e-tickets for 2 vanilla cones per mobile app.
Redemption of the complimentary vanilla cones can be done at the selected outlets islandwide* by presenting the e-tickets downloaded on any of the three mobile apps to the counter staff. Qoo10 Free Cone Days is also in the running for the Singaporean record of ‘Most Number of Ice Cream Given Out in Singapore’, which will be audited by the Singapore Book of Records.
“This year marks 50 years of nation-building and Qoo10’s fifth anniversary in Singapore. We have grown rapidly since 2010 to become the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Singapore, with 2 million members transacting more than S$30 million every month. It would be great to celebrate these momentous milestones with fellow Singaporean residents with an ice cream treat,” said Hyun Wook Cho, Country Manager for Qoo10 Singapore.
